However, there is still a journey ahead. We are fundraising to furnish the 2nd classroom block (due to open early 2016), repair the kindergarten and build a cost-efficient, industrial solar-powered kitchen, that will provide 1,000 girls a daily meal and train local young adults in cookery and catering skills.
Here's how you can help
You can also sign up to Give as You Live so that when you shop online, stores donate to Thinking Development at absolutely no extra cost to you!
We understand that not everybody is able to donate. You can help us hugely by connecting with us on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest and spreading the word about Thinking Development, by showing your friends, family and colleagues our video, website and invitation below.
Join our network of #ThinkingGirls schools and we will:
- Help plan great fundraising activities and thank you on our website.
- Give you a copy of our book dedicated to your school, and a framed 'dream school' drawing by one of the Centre Rosalie girls.
- Collaborate on educational projects on natural disasters, design and citizenship in line with the National Curriculum.
Do get in touch for more information - we'll be thrilled to hear from you.
